David Antonio Cruz, (b. 1974, Philadephia) is a Puerto Rican artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. His many exhibitions and awards include LMCC workspace, New York, NY, franklin Furnace, NY, NY, Yale Summer School of Art, Norfolk Fellowship Award, Norfolk, Ct. , Artist in the Marketplace, Bronx Museum, Bronx, NY. His work has been written about in the New York Times, Time Out New York, The Wall Street Journal, and Bomb magazine, among others. Cruz was a resident of Gateway Project Spaces.
