Cooper Union’s Saturday programs enrolls New York City public high school students of all skills levels in grades 9-12, providing free visual arts training to hundreds of students every year. Courses are inspired by the first- year undergraduate syllabus of The Cooper Union’s School of Art, and also includes a portfolio preparation class. This free course offers focused instruction and mentoring needed to develop competitive portfolios for college applications.
